The rivers flowing east and west
Merge in the sea and become one,
Forgetting they were ever
separate rivers,
And so we too can become one.
We can lose our separateness
When we merge in mutual
kindness,
and treat each other more
compassionately.
Like bricks of a building,
Brick by Brick ...
When they are all combined
together
Lend strength to another,
Sister to sister, Brother to
brother,
Each strengthening the other.
Like the hands and arms, joined
together,
Bound to co-operate with each
other.
Like the rivers flowing east and
west
Joined together to form the vast
ocean's quest.
If this spirit is infused in
society,
It would be clear to see its
necessity,
No one would doubt its peace and
tranquility!
