Was Adam With Eve When She Ate the Fruit?

I read a poem, last night, by an excellent unpublished poet whose work I like very much. It was about Adam and Eve and the traditional story about how she was alone with the serpent, ate, then found Adam, gave to him, and he ate.

As I was reading, I remembered hearing a TV Bible teacher talk about this subject years ago and how Adam was WITH EVE during the original sin! Wow. Imagine that. I quickly looked up the passage in the KJV, and there it was. The whole time!

So, I googled it and, sure enough, the second link is a teaching about the same thing. Hum. This calls for a plethora of Eve-bashing-blaming backtracking.
